Measure the chest. Run a soft tape around the widest part of your dog's ribcage, just behind the front legs. Chest circumference is what determines the size — not weight, not breed.

Between two sizes? Always go up. A slightly loose jacket can be tightened with the straps. A tight one restricts your dog's chest and won't be worn twice. Allow 1–3 cm for measuring variance.
